Sol Xenia means 'hospitality of the sun'.
Sol is Latin for sun which is the source of light and what exposed skin needs protection from. Xenia is the Greek principle of sacred hospitality, the duty to welcome and protect a guest.
Together the name frames sun protection as an ultimate act of caring.

Every production batch of Sol Xenia sunscreen is supported by batch-specific certification from our manufacturing partner, VeganicSKN, providing an additional layer of quality assurance and transparency.
For every Sol Xenia production run, our manufacturing partner provides documentation confirming:
- Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for the individual batch
- Batch SPF testing results
- Batch identification and manufacturing details
- Manufacture date and expiry/shelf-life information
- Supporting documentation for applicable product specifications and formulation claims
- Supporting documentation for applicable ingredient, mineral, vegan and organic claims
This means our commitment to safety doesn't stop when the formulation is developed. We seek verification at a batch level, so we can stand behind the product we put into the hands of our customers, athletes, families and communities.
Manufactured in Australia
Sol Xenia is manufactured in Queensland by VeganicSKN, a manufacturer operating within Australia's regulated therapeutic-goods manufacturing environment.
Our sunscreen has a three-year shelf life from manufacture, with relevant batch and expiry information provided for each production run.
Mineral protection
Sol Xenia uses zinc oxide as its active UV filter, providing mineral-based sun protection.
Our formulation is designed around a simple philosophy: effective sun protection, carefully considered ingredients and transparency about what goes into our sunscreen.
Safety Doesn't End With SPF
For us, safety means more than a number on the front of a tube. It means knowing where our sunscreen is made, what's in it, when it was manufactured and having documentation supporting every batch we receive.
When a product is being used by children, athletes, workers, families and communities across Australia, we believe that level of accountability matters.
Our product is free from petrochemicals, parabens, artificial fragrances, preservatives and toxic chemical UV filters.

Rachel Condos-Fields OAM
For Rachel Condos-Fields, Sol Xenia is the next chapter in a much bigger mission: using business and sport as a force for good.
After a career spanning senior executive leadership, corporate Australia and professional sport, Rachel founded WattleNest with a simple belief - talent and potential should never be limited by someone’s postcode or their capacity to pay. That belief has grown into a community supporting Australian athletes and connecting them with funding, opportunities, networks and people who believe in their journey. Rachel was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2026, reflecting a life-long commitment to community and creating opportunities for others.
Sol Xenia grew naturally from that same purpose. Rachel saw an opportunity to take something Australians already need and use every day, sunscreen, and make every purchase mean more. Together with co-founder Jane, she created Sol Xenia around a simple idea: protect people, support athletes and create impact. With net proceeds helping support Australian athletes and community initiatives through sport in partnership with WattleNest, Sol Xenia brings together Rachel’s love of sport, community and purpose-led business.
Jane Hagarty
For Jane Hagarty, Sol Xenia is deeply personal. As the mum of an athlete who has experienced first-hand the support of WattleNest, Jane understands what sits behind every sporting journey. The early mornings, endless travel, sacrifices, costs and quiet determination of an entire family helping an athlete pursue their potential. She has seen the difference it makes when someone steps forward and says, we believe in you and we want to help.
Jane also brings a genuine love of beautifully made, premium products and a strong belief that Australians shouldn’t have to compromise between quality, purpose and accessibility. As Co-founder of Sol Xenia, she has helped shape a brand centred around locally made products, thoughtful ingredients and the organic, vegan and mineral principles that underpin the Sol Xenia philosophy.
For Jane, Suncare with Purpose brings these two worlds together: creating a product families can feel good about using, while building a business that gives something meaningful back to the sporting community that has given her family so much. It’s sunscreen with a bigger story, protecting our people while championing the next generation of Australian athletes.

Does Sol Xenia Face & Body Zinc SPF50 leave a white cast?
No, our products use iron oxides to tint the zinc oxide base, which helps reduce the pale or grey cast often associated with traditional mineral sunscreens.
Is Sol Xenia TGA approved?
Yes, our products are TGA listed (AUST L 525638), shared with the standard Face & Body formula and manufactured in a TGA approved facility using an active ingredient from a TGA approved manufacturer.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Where is Sol Xenia Face & Body Zinc products made?
Our products are proudly manufactured in Rocklea, Brisbane. Being Australian made also means it's manufactured in a TGA approved facility using an active ingredient from a TGA approved manufacturer.

We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
